LeAnn was raised outside Grand Rapids, MI, in a small town named Lowell, and now resides in West Michigan near the lakeshore with her husband, Joe, and daughter, Ivy, as well as their rescue cat, Moon. She has a degree in psychology.

Reading and writing is something LeAnn has enjoyed since an early age, spending most of her allowance on books. When not writing, LeAnn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. LeAnn loves to hike, kayak, travel and spend time near and on the ocean.

Some of the authors LeAnn admires are Kim Harrison, Laurell K. Hamilton, Susan Kay, George RR Martin, and Mario Puzo.
